Our Story

Born in the Wild. Worn Everywhere.

Mycelio started with a camera, a backpack, and a deep obsession with Patagonian wildlife. We didn't set out to build a clothing brand — we set out to document a disappearing world.

Every design in our Wild Patagonia Collection begins the same way: we go into the field, we find the animal in its habitat, and we photograph it. The puma stalking the steppe at dusk. The chuncho perched motionless on a branch. The zorro chilla watching us with curious, unhurried eyes. The tucuquere calling from the dark.

Then we take those photographs and turn them into hand-drawn illustrations — minimal, precise, and honest. No AI, no stock imagery, no invented landscapes. Just a real encounter, filtered through a hand and a pen.

Why Clothing?

Because we believe the best way to carry a place with you isn't a postcard or a souvenir. It's something you put on every day. Something that sparks a question — what is that animal? — and opens a door to a conversation about a part of the world most people will never see.

Our Wild Rooted Collection extends that spirit into premium hoodies built for people who move through the world with intention — hikers, travelers, and outdoor adventurers who feel most alive when they're off the beaten path.

Who We Are

We operate between the Patagonian steppe and the Canadian Rockies. We run Tanu Expeditions, a wildlife ecotourism operation in Torres del Paine, where we take small groups to encounter pumas and guanacos in their natural environment. Mycelio grew out of that work — a way to bring the spirit of those encounters to people who couldn't make the trip themselves.

Everything we make is print-on-demand — no overproduction, no waste, no mountains of unsold inventory. Each piece is made when you order it.

The Mycelium Metaphor

We named the brand after mycelium — the underground network that connects trees, shares nutrients, and holds ecosystems together. It's invisible, essential, and deeply interconnected. That's exactly what we believe about the relationship between humans and the natural world: most of it happens below the surface, out of sight, but it holds everything up.

Stay wild.
